I think a lot of fans are too judgmental about sexualities in K-pop. Although most fail to notice it, they slap a label onto the idol right away. As an example, I’m not saying that homosexuality doesn’t exist in K-pop, but everyone seems to label artists like Key as gay. Being effeminate doesn’t mean gay. Many fail to see his masculine traits, as they only focus on his so-called ‘girly’ qualities or how he dresses. The fact is that this is his image he is supposed to portray. Same with Amber - she’s a tomboy, but that doesn’t mean she’s a lesbian. It’s none of our business what their sexuality is (they may or may not be), but rather to understand it’s not about the physicalities, or what they wear or act like in front of cameras that make them gay.

Okay first and foremost,before reading this,please understand that this blog post isn’t meant to offend anyone,and I’m not the type to look down on N(a/t) students.I’m also not the type who worship Express students just because I’m one.So if I offend you unintentionally,I’m sorry..lor.
Okay,so to begin with,the reason why I’ve decided to blog this out is because I overheard one of my juniors making a comment that made one of my friend feel offended.I admit,I did feel a bit offended,just not as much as her.
So,EXP vs. N(A/T). Now,I’m not against Normal students,because I have friends from all streams,and they are super duper awesome.However,I guess that there are quite a few people out there who stereotypes the Normal students as ‘useless apples/bad apples’ etc etc.
It’s so not true okay?! Just because they are in Normal stream give you the right to judge them? Come on people,let’s grow up.Stop having such mentality la. I’m not defending nor am I accusing Special and Express streams students for being stereotypical la,but really la,if you were in their shoes,how would you feel?
Okay that’s not really the point that I wanna bring but here’s the main point.
One of my juniors made a comment that I personally felt was really immature and stupid la.
When one of my fellow CCA mates told her how she felt that the teachers were more biased towards the Express students than towards the Normal students,that junior mumbled under her breath.
“I don’t care.Express people are stupid”
Well apparently she didn’t say it soft enough because my friend heard it and she was not happy.
And apparently she’s too dense to realise that that one comment of hers had already offended over 100000 Express students in Singapore.
I mean like,we express students have not fucking offended you in any way,so why thw fuck did you make that comment?
Okay,even if one Express student had offended you,did you have to insult the whole Express population?
I won’t even begin to insult the whole Normal population,because I don’t fucking SEE any reason to insult them because of a fucking black sheep like you.

you got so much flack for “being cute” when you were on we got married, and it’s something that stuck with me because it was my first exposure to criticism of you, period. obviously you had to fake it, because you were twenty-three at the time; no one who is twenty-three acts that way. but it’s just how you are. you’re this naturally cute person with a lot of personality and an impossibly huge heart. you care so deeply for f(x) and the friends you’ve made. i like to think that they call you “umma” not because of your age, but because of how you treat them. you look after them and love them. you’ve got the patience of a saint. you hold f(x) together.
it baffles me how f(x) can have so much talent in you and yet they squander it with subpar concepts, songs, and choreography. you have a degree in Chinese Ethnic Dance from the Beijing Dance Academy, you’re so flexible that it’s, on occasion, somewhat baffling as to how your muscles aren’t simply elastic wrapped around your bones. you work so hard to become a better vocalist because it wasn’t what you originally signed on to do, and it shows. you’ve grown a lot. i hope they let you sing more in the future because you’ve got a beautiful voice.
i just want you to have the happiest birthday. Today,a group of Korean students came to my school,and 2 of them had been assigned to my class.The female student is really pretty !! i sat w th korean guy during POA,damn interesting sial.His handwriting is super neat sial!He showed me his journal and told me tt his teacher corrected his mistakes in his journal,so i’m like,oooooo..then i started asking about kpop and asked if he liked Girls’ Generation and he was like,huh?(come to think of it i shud had said so nuh shi dae instead LOL) so i kept repeating until he understood lor XD he told me tt he likes Tiffany from SNSD so i was like,i like seohyun XD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH.I think Koreans are really cool people other than kpop.He told me he liked trot music but he still listens to kpop though HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH SO CUTE LOOL KOREANS ARE SO CUTE.Especially Uncle Jewook.Funny until hor…never mind later post another post.
So,because of the language barrier hor,i communicated with him using broken Engrish(come to think of it,i always do LOL).He asked if i was born in SG so i said yes,but i’m not Singaporean.Bet he was like,ooooooooo i seeeeee..so then, i saw the Luge stamp on his hand so being raised in Singapore,i spoke in Singlish

So before the day ended,i exchanged emails with my NFF and th PG.Hope we visit them again or they visit us again:) In return,NFF gave me a notebook and PG gave me candy:) They’re so nice:) Now,what’s not to like about Koreans now? And i actually got to converse in a bit of Korean with them! They gave me gifts and i said kamsahamnida and annyeong cuz they were leaving.Awhhhhhh~ :c *really really sad face*
Actually i wanted to teach my NFF Singlish but he was so busy studying i didnt think i could teach him LOOOOOOOOOOL.But it’s alright because i gave him my blog address and he will visit my blog wouldn’t he? :)
